He specializes in mash-up style remixes, in which he uses often a dozen or more unauthorized samples from different songs to create a new song; The New York Times Magazine has called his music “a lawsuit waiting to happen.”
I can’t decide if I like it or not, but it is awesome, unique, and fun to listen to and recognize all the song snippets. Oh and he used to be an engineer and quit his day job. And what’s even better? His latest CD, Feed the Animals, is available as pay-what-you-want like Radiohead.
